Answers for Tabulo Marine and the Tabulo apps on the way. There's no sign-in and no online account, so most things are sorted right inside the app.

How do I add a receipt?
Open Receipts, then Add. Choose the document scanner, your photo library or manual entry. Check the merchant, amount, category and payment method before you save. Tabulo reads the text on your iPhone; you confirm what's stored.
If the scan misses the VAT or a line, type it in. Suggested fields are a starting point, not a tax return.
The app can't use my camera or photos
iOS asks for camera access to scan receipts and photo access to import images. If you tapped Don't Allow, open iPhone Settings › Tabulo and turn on Camera or Photos, then try again. You can always add a receipt by typing it in.
What happens with duplicate receipts?
When you save, Tabulo compares the merchant, date, time, amount, currency, receipt number and text. If it looks like a duplicate you choose: keep both, replace, or cancel. Nothing is deleted automatically.
Months, cards and exports
What are accounts, workspaces and the cash float?
An account is a local expense book, for example a vessel. It isn't an online login. Each month has its own workspace holding that month's receipts.
Each payment account can have a Cash Float in the same currency. ATM withdrawals add cash to the float and cash expenses take it away.
How do I export my Monthly Pack?
Open the monthly workspace and tap Export Monthly Pack. Choose what to include (Excel, reports and receipt images) and share the ZIP with Mail, Files, AirDrop or any app you like. Tabulo doesn't upload the pack for you.
What's inside the Monthly Pack?
- An Excel workbook with Expenses and Cash Float sheets
- Monthly Summary, Analytics, Cash Float and Validation reports as PDFs
- Every receipt photo for the month
Subscriptions
How does the free trial work?
Tabulo Marine includes a 7-day free trial. After that it's £19.99 a month or £189.99 a year, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Final purchase terms are shown by Apple before you subscribe.
How do I change plan or cancel?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Tabulo Marine. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Your data and privacy
Where are my receipts stored?
On your iPhone. Tabulo Marine works offline and doesn't create an online account, so your receipts, images and exports stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
How do I delete my data?
- Delete a receipt from its detail screen.
- Delete a monthly workspace from inside that workspace.
- Uninstall Tabulo to remove the remaining app data from that iPhone.
